The term “athletic performance” covers so many areas – speed, strength, change of direction, mobility; the list goes on. Ultimately, if you feel like you’re able to demonstrate these qualities better when you play your game, then that is the biggest win.
However, since we go above and beyond, we will re-test athletes each term, to continue identifying areas for improvement, as well as to track certain metrics such as vertical jump, movement quality, and elasticity/springiness.
Yes. If you’re not quite ready to get started yet, you’re welcome to come along to a session for free.
You can join the first 10-15 minutes where players work on sprinting, jumping and explosive movements, then stay and watch the rest of the session to see how the program runs before deciding if it’s right for you.
Please fill out the form at the bottom of the page if you’d like to do this!
Absolutely! Our sessions are small groups – 5 players at most – and players will always be closely watched and coached by our trainer taking the session.
All of our training sessions run for 60 minutes, allow players adequate time to warm up properly and get in a full, high quality session!
Players must be 10 years old (or 9 years old and playing rep basketball) to join our Athletic Performance Program.
Yes! During our screening process, athletes will answer a questionnaire then undergo a thorough screening protocol to identify what they are capable of.
Also, for more acute acute conditions, like a broken wrist for example, can be programmed around and worked through. Just become one part of your body doesn’t work right now, doesn’t mean we can’t train the rest of it!
Your sessions will run at our private facility, The Lab, in Box Hill South.

We’ll find out your history (injuries / prior training), and learn about where you’re looking to go (your goals).
We’ll put you through our performance testing to identify which areas of your athleticism can be improved first to help you on-court the most.
We’ll also show you how things work around the gym so that you’re up to speed at your first group session.
You’ll begin your program, joining in one of our small-groups, and start taking your performance to a whole new level!
You’ll be re-tested 4 times per year to assess your progress and make tweaks to your program.
